Here is your chance to own a piece of Michigan canoe history . For sale is an AeroCraft 17 foot canoe . She was manufactured at St Charles , Michigan I believe in 1955 .
The Good : Early AeroCraft construction featured proper aluminum seats . Later seats were of cheaper lawn chair style plastic webbing . Early models also featured real aluminum medallions fastened to bow and stern sides
The Bad : This old gal has been rammed on the starboard side and has a repairable "gink" on the starboard gunwhale. The previous owner also installed a drain plug in the stern area . No idea why . It is sound .
