This is a 1956 AEROCRAFT 12' aluminum boat. It is the PD model runabout speedster. It was made in Harwell, MI during the time when top makers constructed their boats with high quality thick aircraft alloy aluminum. It is strongly built and in very good used condition (just one ding in the spray rail) for a 60 year old boat. I replaced the dash with a new piece of solid mahogany and also the transom motor mounting boards. The aluminum foredeck is 48" long. With just a 25 hp outboard this little gal will fly (but is will also take a little larger HP if one uses caution when operating). It has a maximum capacity of 660#. You can run her as she is with a tiller steering outboard or mount a steering wheel forward on the dash. There are air flotation chambers under the seats with oar locks and stern and bow handles. This is a great little speedster just looking for some fun. The trailer is galvanized and in very nice condition. (It has just one crack in a plastic fender). I paid $1000. for this trailer alone just a few years ago. It fits the boat well. Hope you see the beauty of this great little vintage boat.
