This is among the first Aluminum Boats produced for the public after WW2.
These older AeroCraft's were made of High Tempered Aircraft Aluminum, I think that's probably why it survived as well as it has.
There is one JB Weld repair that was done before I got. The oar locks need to replaced.
There is a split in the gunnel and one in the port side see photo's.The original tag is missing. There are two bumps on the bow cover. The aluminum angle that held the dash plate to the bow cover had corroded away.I fixed with new angle and PopRivots. I replaced the transom wood, and sealed the leaks. The white spray seal inside marks the places it was leaking from the extra black was preventitive, I was planing on using spay on truck bed liner to finish the inside. For what it's worth Flex Seal worked better than Rustoleum rubber spray.
