MUST SEE TO APPRECIATE
The boat is old, 1970 Aero Craft is a collectors item, as Aero Craft has been out of business for almost 30 years. You can still find them up in St. Charles in just about every other driveway. Bought it this spring to take family fishing on Lake Ovid and Shiawassee river. Works great. Has very slow leak in stearn, that I haven't got to. Rivets are broken on Starboard Stern corner, again haven't got to it to fix it. Trolling motor will push me and the 2 boys about 5 to 10 knots across lake Ovid, a little slower on the river depending on the current. Completely wired the boat with sheet metal control panel and quick disconects for motor and fish finder (plug and go). Fused at all 4 batteries postives and nuetrals. Batteries run in series @ 12Volt, have run Lake Ovid Trolling for Muskies with fish finder, motor and lights on for over 6 hours strait and never lost power. Disconecting Coast Guard Navigations lights to run at night on lakes. Did I mention the PIRATE FLAG that mounts on the pole of the rear nav light? Tags good until 2014, Permenant trailer plate. Trailer was just bought at Gander Mountain in Spring for Just over $800, added wheel and locking latch pin. Motor was bought at same time was about $275. Just the safety stuff was well over $200, thousands in extras. Boat is completely setup to run the Bay and Saginaw river minus 10HP motor (if you dare). Boat cover has a rip in Port rear corner (easily sewn) Like I said MUST SEE TO APPRECIATE
